Keeping Woodstock clean and working well

  • by

It is the responsibility of the City of Cape Town to clean and maintain the streets and infrastructure throughout Woodstock. Contrary to popular belief, the City does not drive around looking for problems to fix. They operate by receiving notifications from residents.

U-Watch patrollers have logged over 900 service requests with the City over the last three years. These have been mostly for broken street lamps, pot holes, graffiti and repairs to park play equipment.

The repairs to the pavement below for example were carried out a few days after being logged via the MySmartCity app.

Remember when logging a service request to always add lots of information in the comment field.

This ensures the City always knows exactly what do do where.

We are incredibly proud of how improved Woodstock is looking because of these efforts however we cannot afford to sit back and relax. We would like to ask residents to download the app, use the links below and report issues as soon as you see them. Play your part as an active citizen.

Together we can keep Woodstock working well and looking great for residents and visitors.

You can download the app Here for Google Play Store or Here for Apple Appstore.
